Maurice K. Goddard State Park is primarily known for its lake activities at the 1,860-acre Lake Wilhelm, where fishing, boating, cross-country skiing, ice skating and more keep the lake packed year round. Hunting and fishing are allowed during the appropriate times of year and with the proper permits, and wildlife viewing along the 14 miles of forested hiking trails is another common activity. Ospreys and eagles are some of the most spectacular creatures that can be seen in the park, which sits directly off I-79 about 20 miles south of Meadville.
Open daily dawn - dusk.
Free entry. Activity rates vary, check website for details.
